Whilst the debate continues between GNU & HoR ref Libya’s budget infrastructure continues to deteriorate with oil & gas, power, water, health (among others) suffering. Surely there must be an interim solution where key sectors can be supported thereby improving public wellbeing!

But the solution (short, medium & long term) is so easy - yes there is cost,short term, but it is critical the process is started and the money is spent... for the people!

As an outsider looking in, the LPDF dialogue & HOR/GNU deliberations over the budget look like a never ending tit for tat game (except it's not a game!) Who will be the bigger man, prepared to compromise for the common good because without compromise there will be no progress.
