Parliamentary committee for sovereign leadership positions starts accepting candidates’ files

The committee for receiving and screening the files of candidates for the highly contested and politically sensitive sovereign positions announced the start of accepting files on Thursday.

Tobruk: Wednesday, March 31, 2021

The Committee was formed by Ageela Saleh, head of Parliament, No. 14 of 2021. The committee is accepting nominations for the following positions:

  1. Governor of the Central Bank of Libya
  2. Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Libya
  3. Member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Libya
  4. The head of the Audit Bureau
  5. Deputy head of the Audit Bureau
  6. Head of the Administrative Control Authority
  7. Deputy head of the Administrative Control Authority
  8. Head of the National Anti-Corruption Commission
  9. Deputy of the National Anti-Corruption Commission
  10. Member of the National Anti-Corruption Commission
  11. Head of the High National Elections Commission
  12. Member of the Board of the High National Elections Commission

Nominations will be accepted as of Thursday, April 1, 2021, until the end of the working day of Thursday, April 8, 2021, through direct communication with the offices of the House of Representatives through the following addresses:
