Libya seeks Italian cooperation to boost agriculture in the south

Member of the Presidential Council (PC) Ahmed Hamzah Monday discussed with the Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Puccini, supporting agriculture in the southern region.

Several specialized experts participated in the meeting through the application of “Zoom”, in the presence of mayors and elders from the southern region, according to the PC media office.

The meeting reviewed plans and programs that aim to revive agricultural projects in the south and educate farmers about rationalizing water consumption in order to pursue economic viability that contributes to raising farmers’ efficiency and achieving returns to support the national economy, the PC media office explained.
