Britain Appoints New Ambassador To Libya.

The British Foreign Office announced that Ms Caroline Hurndall has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Libya in succession to Mr Nicholas Hopton and said Ms Hurndall will take up her appointment during September 2021.

The Press statement issued by the Foreign Office said MS Hurndall had worked as head of Iraq and Iran department, Director of Middle East and North Africa Department, and a political adviser to the Commander of US Forces in Afghanistan.
