Algeria Renews Support For Reconciliation In Libya In Collaboration With AU.

Algiers, 23 July 2021(Lana) Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra discussed on the phone with UN Special Envoy to Libya Jan Kupis developments of the political process in Libya.

Lamamra tweeted that talks involved ‘latest developments of the political process to end crisis in this brotherly country.’

Algerian Foreign Ministry said Lamamra reaffirmed Algeria’s support for UN efforts and preparedness to follow up and render successful national reconciliation in collaboration with the African Union.

The talks came as Algerian Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane discussed on July 3rd with Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba developments of the political track in Libya.

Back in MAY Al Dbeiba had talks with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on political and security cooperation and the political solution in Libya.
