(5 + 5) Committee Confirms Sirte’s Readiness To Hold A Session Of Parliament To Give Confidence To Government Of National Unity.

The Joint Military Committee (5 + 5) confirmed, on Sunday, the readiness of the city of Sirte to host a meeting of the House of Representatives to hold the session on granting confidence to the government of national unity headed by Abdel Hamid Dabaiba.
The committee said in a statement reported by the media (that with reference to the Speaker of Parliament’s call for a session to grant confidence to the government of national unity in the city of Sirte, asking the committee to clarify the position regarding the possibility of securing the session, because it is the difficult circumstance that our country is going through in these historic and defining days, and our diligent pursuit to banish the specter of war, preserve the unity of its soil and unify its institutions, and the importance of giving confidence to the government of national unity, and after consultation and communication between its members, it was confirmed by all members of the Joint Military Committee that the meeting venue in Sirte is ready and safe to hold a session of granting confidence to the national unity government throughout the period from its beginning to its expiration.
